Follow the A 1079 from York to Hull,

You can either take a left turning just after the industrial estate and follow the road down to a roundabout in the centre of Pocklington, turn right here and go straight up to the next roundabout and go straight on, Sainsbury’s will be on your right, keep going and  Pocklington town football ground will be on your left.

Or

 Ignore the above, keep going and then take a left turn at the Yorkway Motel, follow the road down and after about a mile Pocklington town football ground will be on your right opposite the Broadmanor housing estate
